What, no spinners or nitro? pish!!
You know your lazy when...! Lol thats pretty cool, I must admit.
Yeh, but all the boys would leave the lid up..... :-X
And women would complain about the splashing around the edge.
Interesting idea for those folk who wish to do maintenance and don't have the strength, co-ordination, or balance to lift up hoods out of the way. Sometimes they are very heavy depending upon the size of the tank.
I found the motor for the unit quite loud, and wondered if it would make the fish neurotic, then I noticed that as it reached the apogee, it seemed to sway quite a bit. I imagine this vibration and jerkiness would be transfered to the glass tank and its occupants.
A nifty idea nonetheless, and certainly one aspect of large tanks that would preclude having to be a weightlifter to get the cleaning and maintenance done.
I still think a lazy susan for large tanks would also be a cool addition to aid in tracking the light of the day. But that is just me.
Now from home I can see it!! Interesting seems to go kind of high for nothing but hey if you have the time and money to build it why not ;)
Yeah I was also wondering why he made it go so high.
