I have just purchased a CO2 system for my 90 gallon setup. We tried the CarboPlus system before it broke down, therefore have been using homemade CO2 for about a week now (so the plants are used to CO2).
I'm setting up my new CO2 system, but id like to know how many bubbles per second I should use for the 90 gallon tank with 3 watts per gallon lighting.
Boo Carbo-Plus
Start at 1 bubble per second and monitor over the course of the day... increase on a daily basis until you routinely measure 25ppm of CO2 at any point during lights on
Okay so I just got a CO2 canister with all the trimmings and I can't figure out how to work it.
The silver valve on top is on Open.
One of the guages has a reading... the other doesn't.
The black handle is twised to be open.
The specific valve on the 6 way co2 splitter Manifold is open.
The bubble counter has water in it, with a tube leading into the tank where there's a diffuser and a water pump.
What am I missing? No CO2 is coming out. :o
have you tried one of the other needle valves, just in case?
Tried how? What do I need to do?
fisheye i sent you a pm.
Regards

BD, you should write a book on all this info.
I know I would buy it.
