I want to make something like this for my 150 gallon. I would like to use limestone (free) instead of the lava rocks ($$$) to match my limestone. Just a few questions:

- Where do I find vinyl gutter like that? HD just has aluminum with crown moulding on it.
- Will limestone adhere to the vinyl if i score it and use silicone? If not, what can I use?
- Should I paint the back of the aquarium black anyways?

The home hardware close to me only sell plastic gutters. Maybe you could try them?

and it looks like the Lava rock he is using is the stuff you use for your BBQ so it is more $$$ than free but not 2 bad
