Title: Guide to fertilizing your planted tank
Post by: charlie on May 27, 2007, 06:58:09 AM
I just bought the on line e-book named -"Greg Watson's Guide to Dosing Strategies ", I would highly recommend it to anyone who is planning a planted tank & also those of us with planted tanks, the on line e-book is only 4.95 ( US) & i think it`s worth it.

What do you folks think of it? I'm always reluctant to buy information because I have the notion that "I can find the information online for free".
So somebody sell me on it  ;D

Zoe you are right , there is no magic or secret ideas in the book, everything in there is available on line for free, but what it does is it puts it all in perspective, & gives you a good understanding about lights , carbon ,& nutrients for the nominal cost of 4.99 US, when i bought it it did`nt tell me anything i did not already know from reading on forums , but it sure give me a better understanding of what i read  :).Hope this helps.

Thanks Errol... I'll probably buy it when I get home and see how disgusting my tank looks (on the plus side, though, the big tank looks terrific).  There are certain elements about planting etc that I don't understand yet, and I won't until I read a million times, so this e-book is sure to at least push me closer to understanding.

Downloaded the e-book. Like Errol said nothing you can't find online BUT... It sorts out the differences between the different dosing methods. It also says it all in layman's terms. If you are trying to get more out of your planted tanks and want healthy ones then download it & read. Helps decide on what method you want to use.
