Title: Well Water analysis
Post by: fender316 on July 17, 2007, 11:49:36 AM
Thanks to Shrimpy, i went to Accutest and got some well water tested.  Not sure where to post this, but if anyone has any thoughts on the results please feel free to put in your two cents.....I got a couple bettas in some jugs with the well water, they where happy and eating when I left home.  Sodium seems a little high, but private water has a max of 200 mg/l (result: 170).  also iron is just a little high, also so is the PH.  I dont think I got a result for sulphide, which I wouldnt mind having.  I cant really make heads or tails of the results but the water seems safe, I'm still planning on getting one of these or something similar so I dont clogg up the RO.  I did my own TDS check and it was up near 500, good old mineral water.

Well, for me it is enough to drink mineral water because it is very clean and safe.
