Title: Val is taking over
Post by: busdriver on September 18, 2007, 06:05:17 PM
Val is taking over my 75 gal.
I was wondering if I took most of it out would it have much of an effect on the aquarium other than not looking like a jungle any more?

Val and other rosettes are like that... you can try to prune the outer leaves to keep things clean and neat but eventually it produces more runners than you'd care for.

Pull 'em out sections at a time... won't have any other effect other than temporarily disturbing the substrate.
