garf.org is an amasing web site btw!!

I have built a fair number of my own tanks, well actually i have only ever bought one... used..
Easy of building really depends on the size and complexity of the shape of the tank. A square 50g with a large foot print is quite easy, where as a 77 g hexagonal with a small foot print is fairly tricky.
What size tank do you plan on building? what size?

I'm gonna have to try building a large 100+ gallon plywood tank for out on the deck during summer months...

you can get the silicone from home deop or canadian tire. I have always used GE Silicone I. be sure NOT to get silicone II as it is not suitable for aquariums (it says so on the tube). I know crappy tire also sells one that good for aquariums, but i dont know the name/brand of thiers.

I use to use methylene chloride to chemically bond plexiglass, it can be used to bond the aquariums together and also take them apart. I purchased the chemical and squeeze bottle with needle tip adapter from Canus Plastic, downtown on Lisgar.
