Title: Red Sea Flora Base

I would like to know if I can wash it like regular gravel.  I know I'll be washing away some of what I paid for, but if I were to wash it, how much would I be loosing?

Depends on how much you wash it.  I personally just put it in a bucket and the fill it with water and dump whatever floats to the top.
