Title: Looking for some ideas
Post by: woof99 on July 22, 2008, 08:49:16 PM
I just recently purchased a 70 gal tank for my Goldfish and I have an idea for the layout and would like some help to pick the plants.
I will leave the bottom of the tank clean, no gravel and will have 3 small vases with clear gravel and real plants in those vases.
What plant do you think would do well in this type of set-up, I was thinking something tall and thin.
I am painting the aquarium base this weekend, it needs a new coat of black and then will set up the tank, I can't wait!  Then I will be getting myself a Ranchu or 2!

I will post some pics when all is done!

What lights do you have? There are not many plants that hold up against goldfish of any type.

Thanks Dan!
You can see my pics in my gallery to see which ones I went with!
Goldfish safe too!  They would have prefered duckweed, they love that one!
