Title: Question about aquatech 20 aquarium
Post by: martin_jones on August 02, 2008, 06:50:03 PM
I notice Walmart are selling the Aqua-tech 20 aquarium inc heater and filter for 90bucks.

Is this worth it? Does anyone know the dimensions of this 20gallon aquarium?

Thanks in advance.

Martin

Martin , if memory serves me right, the Aqua -tech line at Wal Mart is manufactured by Marineland, depending on the set up you are planning , the filter in this kit may or may not be useful, that said @ 90.00 for the Kit it could be considered a decent buy.Oh the 20 gallon is the standard 24x12x16 with a standard plastic canopy with a 15 watt fluorescent tube.

On another note one of our sponsors is offering a 29 gallon kit for 100.00 but it`s only good for Sunday Aug 3rd

For $90 you can get an amazing set-up(used) from the classifieds or used ottawa.

For $100 I once got:
- 25 gallon with canopy
- Gravel
- Heater
- Ehiem 2213 filter with media
- air pumps
- 100ft python
- Ship Ornamnent

Great Deals out there. I pass on them all the time cause I need room in my house to live.

If your buying new, not a bad choice.

Like Charlie said the filters are questionable. Consider buying a new filter is it still such a good deal?
