Title: UV sterilizer missing parts
Post by: littlelil on August 11, 2008, 07:47:18 PM
I went to Big Al's Innes yesterday and purchased a Helix Max UV sterilizer 9W. I have two questions:

a) does anyone have this item, and is it good?

b) it lists that there are 7 items in the box. The 7th item is a bulb protector. Before I return this item to Big Al's innes to report a missing part, can someone tell me what it looks like, and where i might be able to find it in the box (ie, is it already attached to something and barely visible?) or should it be obvious and if i don't see the piece in the box, its definitely just not there?

Thanks!

I don't have that brand, but the bulb protector is a small piece of plastic or rubber that slides over the end of the bulb before you slide it into the quartz tube. it keeps the bulb centered in the tube and avoids breaking either of them.

hope that helps
