I'm considering getting a CO2 drop checker. My kH is really high (12) making the whole kH/pH method of measuring CO2 pretty unreliable. I have been reading on Tom Barr's site about these and I'm wondering if anyone has much experience with them? Are they worth it?
I found this one on Big Als site

Thanks,
Jeff
The key for them to be accurate, is for the solution to be spot on 4 DKH, adding tank water as suggested by red sea is not accurate, 4 dkh solution can be made or bought on line, personally i would buy it on line since making it would require some access to accurate lab instruments. If you do a search on Tom Barr's site there is a ton of info on this subjct , as well on other planted sites.Maybe we can get a group order for 4 Dkh solution ;)

I'm going to inquire about ordering some. Let me know if you're interested. I'll find out from them how much shipping would be and I can let everyone know.

I would be in, here is a nother source for larger bottles

I'll be into ordering as a group as well - I use drop checkers all the time, but keep forgetting that my tank water is not anywhere near 4dkh! Please let me know if there's group order brewing.
