Title: help!!!
Post by: dancercr on October 06, 2008, 11:25:43 PM
i JUST got a 5 gal tank from a friend that I was cleaning out today, when one of the ends cracked severely. Is this repairable? If so, what can I do?

It may depend on where the crack is.  People have patched and siliconed repairs before, but I think it comes down to what you're comfortable with  Personally I wouldn't trust it.

You mean you wouldn't trust it because it might leak?

I haven't been able to find ANY 5 gal tanks that are anywhere near $12. Where are you finding these?
