Post by: beowulf on November 16, 2008, 08:51:05 PM
...mat.  Never seen this before until yesterday at BA Mtl.  Got two this morning before coming back to Ottawa.

Will take it out and get a better pick tomorrow but you can bury is a little and it is root itself in the substrate or on something else and slowly propagate.  Love it it my 30g invert tank as it is going to be a great place for the cherry shrimp to hide.

They are very interesting. I purchased a few from a member on here and ended up anchoring the mats to smallish rocks just to keep them sunken at first. They have since begun to slowly spread accross the bottom of the tank.

I use them in my African cichlid tank, to provide hiding spots and the newly spit fry congregate in these spots.
