Jeff that is as tall as it gets... it took a long time to get going about 3 months. Once it took off it really started to spread like a chain sword. I tried to find a post here from before someone else posted the same plant I think?

This plant is believed to be Ranalisma rostrata.

Take a look at this thread: http://ovas.ca/index.php?topic=29268.msg191806#msg191806 (http://ovas.ca/index.php?topic=29268.msg191806#msg191806)

That said, I think it is a variaty of Echinodorus tellenus - it is documented that Ranalisma rostrata the leafs have an oval shape if grown emerged. I am growing it emerged and there is no sign of it; all leafs are straight. But I think doesn't mean that I know for sure. :)

Thanks Fishckopp I couldn't find that darn thread for the life of me. Zima saw mine I told him when it grew in thicker I'd give him some but I couldn't remember the name. Since I gave him some been trying to find the name. By the way mine is copper coloured the lighting is right in my photos.

Do you have any pictures of yours emersed?
