Title: Tiger Lotus question
Post by: Jeff1192 on January 04, 2009, 08:47:54 AM
I have a Tiger Lotus in my tank. It was growing really well when I fired up my CO2 (at one point it probably had 8 or 9 leaves). However, it seems to have stopped growing new leaves over the last few weeks. I am EI dosing and using root tabs. I'm down to the last 2 leaves and they're starting to look pretty rough. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jeff

It is going through a dormant period, triggered by the some change of water parameters. Give it a few weeks/months and it will eventually grow again. I have the same happening with two lotus plants that I moved into another tank 4 months ago. One is starting to grow tiny new leaves by now.

Hope this helps :)

Ok thanks. It's too bad because it was finally really starting to look good. I'll just have to be patient I guess.
