Title: large tank - glass or acrylic
Post by: synodontis on January 17, 2009, 07:08:28 PM
I am considering purchasing a large tank, somewhere around 250 gal to 300 gallons (my frontosas and Moori dolphins are getting big) and would like some advice on glass vs acrylic tanks.  I know that acrylic will scratch more easily, but unlike glass, the scratches can be buffed out.  I like the light weight, strength and clarity qualities of acrylic.  Anyone have any experience with large tanks and have comments on acrylic?
