Post by: sas on February 25, 2009, 10:51:47 AM
Hopefully I'm posting in the right forum?

Picked up one of these Digital temp. guns yesterday. Scroll down to tools.

Lots of applications for it.
Hope that's of some help to someone.
Accuracy however is +/- 3 deg F

Edited for mistakes

Works great for showing a difference in temperature from one surface to another, hotter vs. colder, like finding gaps in insulation.
It's aiming discresion is poor, limiting it's usefulness.
Measurements of high thermal mass objects' surface, mat or gloss, in a stable environment: variable temperature readings, well in excess of the +/- 3F.
Disapointed in mine.
Bought it. Tried it. Sits on shelf.
