Ditto on the cross brace and was it a reptile tank? They are not ment to be filled up. Normally use thinner glass.

Can you post a picture of it?

I have replaced center braces on a few tank using clear acrylic. Depending on the depth of your rim you might be able to attach a center brace for stability.

My sons 36" 50 gallon is a hagen tank and it does not bow at all. Its glass is also extra think and has no centre brace. So not all Hagen tanks have this issue. The glass is about 3/8" thick.

I have a 55 Hagen and it bows, I was worried at first but then after consulting many people (jim one of them) it turns out that even according to hagen they do bow a bit if not center brace
