Title: intake/ outlet connection and valves Fluval 303 and 304
Post by: rnish on July 17, 2009, 01:53:30 PM
Hi all.
I have an old Fluval 303 and 403 which have the seperate valves for the intake and outflow. They have 2 blue valves each with a connection between them and a connector lock/release ring between them.  Unfortunately one of the connection ends has broken and the lock release ring is also cracked. I would like to find replacement connections and valves used or new.  I have had no luck with BigAls or Pets and Ponds. Does anyone have some valves they aren't using or a supplier for Fluval parts or a DIY option for me.
I'd really appreciate the help, as these filters work more reliably than my 404's .
Thanks so much
Jade

Listing the exact part names would help. If you are refering to the following parts, here are some links.

If it's the type of connection I think it is, I wouldn't worry so much about the manufacturer. I've got Eheim valves/connectors on Fluvals, probably Fluvals on Renas and whatever. As long as you can match the replacement connector to the diameter of the tubing there should be no issue.
