Anyone with suggestions which pump to use? Iwaki, Panworld, Sequence...? Or perhaps something for sale?

I'm not sure what "18-2500gph" means?  Assuming 1800 to 2500 gph.

I have had great experience with the sequence product line.  Their "GOLD" series really has to be seen to be  heard... meaning that they are definately as quite as advertised!  I use one for my return, one for my p-skimmer, and will be using one for the closed loop in the new tank.

Not bashing the others, i've no ideas about them... Sequence has been rock-solid for me.

Thanks Tim
I will ask Patrick about a small sequence piece. I am already using two hammerheads on my system now. I wasn't sure if they had some smaller flow pieces.

Thanks for the link Tim. I think the dart will be a little too much. I will check out there others.

Any progress on the Ultralith stuff?

Yeah the Baling system is running, clean and smooth... the Skimmer issues are basically a thing of the past as well...  The Ultralith system needs some work before I start it up again.  I have an Ultralith reactor from Coralvue, but I think the flow they have going thru it is WAY TOO HIGH, so I need to mod the pump (impeller) and fix that... Then I need to get an AIR pump or something that will blast air into the chamber based upon a timmer (proflux contolled of course) to tumble the stones every 6 hrs...

I figure I'll have all of that up and fixed this weekend...   I owe some writeups to ppl on this stuff and figure i'll just update my build thread with a massive "HERE IT IS" post... :7

You can always use a ball valve to dial-down the flow, or go with the smaller Snapper pump... though I've not even heard of it before so maybe there are cheaper, more effective alternatives when looking at flow that "low"... LOL 2000+ gph is not low...
