Title: New Tank Owner Needs Advice
Post by: kiesh on August 19, 2009, 11:36:35 AM
I just bought a 100 gallon tank and would like some advice on what people think are the best heaters and filters on the market. I think id like to have one of the filters that sit outside the tank, are they easy to use and clean? Also how much is it to replace the filter inserts, and do you change them monthly? The tank is 6feet long, and it dosen't come with lights, what do people prefer for lighting equipment? Id also like some help on deciding what kind of light bulbs to use, id like id to be good for fish as well as good for growing plants. Thanks so much for you help guys, and if anyone is selling what i need, let me know :)

Also this is going to be a regular tropical tank
