Title: DIY Rock - Reference
Post by: Hookup on August 20, 2009, 11:36:04 AM
Though I shudder when I recall the last DIY Rock / Cement thread, here's one for reference if anyone is interested and didn't get enough ideas.

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1286738

About 5 posts down that page, you'll see a VERY LONG and good discussio on one more type of DIY cement rock, including materials, tips, tricks, photos...

Quite good.  Just one more method of acomplishing the same thing... you cannot have too many tricks in your bag amiright?

He's done up some very nice pieces... and i do plan on starting my rockwork soon... my new tank has been finalized, just waiting for quotes on 4sided starfire vs nonstarfire before I put the deposit down... rip holes in walls, etc, etc...

He's got a very nice selection of DIY rock pieces at his place right now in fact if anyone is looking for inspiration, or even to purchase a few hunks...  Trina did up a very cool bonzai tree inspired piece...
