Title: Think its ok?

I resiliconed my 30g on sunday night. Think its ok to put water in it wednesday?

I've siliconed a couple of tanks and left them to cure for 48 hours with no problems when I filled them.  You should be good to go Robin.

Excellent! Thank you Nelson! I figure 36 hours is enough...

What happens if its not long enough? It leaks or the chemicals kill your fish?

I'm sure you used non-toxic silicone so even in its soft state it would be harmless to your fish, so the worse that could happen is the tank leaks - which I'm sure won't happen if you completely removed the old sealant, cleaned the glass well and applied the new silicone evenly.

Well...I took the old stuff off and put the new stuff on evenly...
