Title: LED Picture Request
Post by: Zoe on September 28, 2009, 03:45:20 PM
I am contemplating installing some blue LED moonlights in my canopy (FW tank, 20 gallon long), but I remain undecided about whether I should go with 4, 8 or more LED bulbs, or whether I should even bother at all.

If anyone would care to share photos (SW or FW) of their tanks with LEDs on, also letting me know how many bulbs they are using, that would greatly help me in making my decision!

There are 31 LED's on this 5' tank but all led's are not made alike.... I can't remeber but these were not very bright led's now a few super bright leds will provide the same look. a 12V  power supply runs these and they also have a resister.... for this DIY LED array I made..... The picture is brighter then the tank actually is.
