Title: What am I?
Post by: cdylnicki on August 08, 2010, 08:52:53 PM
Any ideas on what exactly this critter is?

I am thinking its either a mantis shrimp, or a hermit crab that has found refuge in the coral.  It waves around 2 red "hands" in the air (like it just don't care!)  These "hands" look like antennae/feelers but are more fluid in motion like he's conducting an orchestra (or filter feeding).

And look at those claws!

This is a close up shot, the critter is actually about the size of a pin head.
