Title: My Little Flow Story
Post by: RossW on August 17, 2010, 07:19:00 PM
I turned off my pumps on Sunday at dinner to feed.  I did not feed yesterday and when I went to feed today I was surprised to see no flow?!?  My pumps had been off for close to 48 hours and the only circulation was from my skimmer, and returns from my carbon reactor, and phosban reactor.  Of course heat was still on.

All fish and corals were fine... or course they seemed very happy when the flow came back on.

Don't you just hate it when you do things like that?

On the plus side, you now know that your critters can survive with minimal flow for at least 2 days.
