Unfortunately, I will not be able to fulfill my term as BAP/AHAP chair and my position on the Exec. of OVAS. Leaving is based on many issues, including my inability to successfully implement the BAP program here at OVAS. To date we have still not had a single BAP award applied for. Perhaps its just the nature of this club or other unknown factors, but I do feel as though I gave it a good chance to succeed.
There are also too many negative issues that keep arising from the website. The good work that I want to focus on and see promoted within the club is overshadowed by the constant attention that is directed to keeping this site from imploding. Perhaps my viewpoints just aren't shared by others. Maybe the new Exec. can hopefully put it all behind them and carry on with the club's needs.
I've enjoyed working with the many members I had the chance to meet and look forward to seeing many new faces at upcoming events.
Here we go again...
Thanks for all the hard work Mark, sorry to see you go. Try to stick around a bit if you can!
Rob

What Brent said.
I was planning to apply for BAP once I got my fish doing more than eating and pooping in the water...Don't be a stranger.
