Title: B&W clown and another ocellaris??
Post by: lost_at_sea on September 15, 2010, 05:23:36 PM
Anyone of experience keeping these breeds of clownfish together?

I have a pair of B&W's that have hosted in a large leather coral and my anemone has split into two, I'd love to get an Ocellaris Clown (single) but was curious if anyone has experience with this.  One of the anemone's is fairly close to leather so i'm a bit worried about proximity here.

Would the female B&W even consider this another clown of the same species or just treat it as another fish in the tank?

Thoughts?

I have that exact situation... it was very unlikely to work but it did.  I have approx. 8 RBTA's in my tank which might help.
