Title: AH Supply?
Post by: Stevie on March 18, 2004, 08:47:10 PM
Anybody ever ordered from them?  I'm looking at their PC lighting kits (at least I think that is what I need).  How is their customer service?  Shipping time?

I sent them e-mail about a month ago to ask about the feasibility of using one of their kits as a lighting supplement.  They never replied to me so I haven't followed up with them.

They have an excellent reputation on the WEB with inexpensive and high quality products. Ron Barter has purchased from them. They do a lot of business.

I heard the service is good too...   dunno for sure yet...   I'm trying to find a cheaper, used, alternative for lighting.  If I don't find anything, I will order their PC kit and built my own ballast.

I know one member here uses the All Glass powercompact lights from Big Als.    I use a light from Custom Sealife.

As Dave noted, I have dealt with them regularily. Kim Bryant is the owner, and he has always been extremely helpgul. Always great service, speedy shipping and excellant packaging. I'm a very happy customer. I'm sure you'll be happy with anything you get from them.

You can get the CF bulbs and electronic ballasts from places like Marchand Electric and others.

Marinescape is supposed to start carrying moisture resistant endcaps for CF tubes soon.

But for reflectors.. yeah, definately AH Supply.  Those reflectors are well worth the money.
