what can i take to hold a bunch of plants together?! liek cabomba by exemple...

I have the same problem with long stem plants.
such as cabomba.ludwigia and some other ones.......
I think I will get rid of them and star with less long stem plants
like ferns and other types.
one thing though.if you tie them up from the bottom and sink them in the gravel they will hold for a while.........
by the way.anybody selling cheap aquatic plants?

Hi,.. at the grocery store the have these plastic netting bags that they put oranges, onions etc in,.. cut a 8 x 8 inch peice,. lay the peice over some floating plants ,..and then place more plants ontop ....    The roots of those plants will hold together the netting and all the other stuff....Im sure it`ll grow as a thick mat....                                                   John
