Hi

i have a 25 gallon tall tank with softies i would like some input on LED lights


i came across the Reef Brite Compact LED Fixture

do i need more then one to make something descent ?

anyhow i would really appreciate some advice

One will not be very bright, but it will be a nice colour (assuming you mean the 50/50 strip). If you want more brightness for your buck, then you might want to look into DIY LED with cree LEDs. One reefbright would be good if you had other lighting and it just supplemented it. However, you only have softies, most of which do not require much light. Oh wait I see you say a 25 gallon tall. That means you need even stronger lighting to penetrate. One will need something else with it I think.
