I am glad to hear others are using this before I get it, ray is closer to me if he sells it would be great I will have to ask him I love the idea of this because my tanks is 24" deep and to find a scraper long enough without getting my hands wet is tough
thanks
i need to get me one of those too :)
I pm'd ray to see if he has them will let you know
I made mine from some acrylic scraps and a couple of nylon screws and wing nuts. Werks awesome!
bought the replacement blades at Marinescape for mine Sat (or friday, cannot remember) anyhooo... i bet they have the entire kit...
I saw the kit 2 weeks ago picking up plugs at marinescape
Rays does have them and the replacement blades also.
thanks guys heard from ray he does carry them just waiting to see if he has them in stock so the people that use these are they worth it? Anyone know what they go for retail??
I have one, and would never consider anything else.
So I finally made my way to marinescape and picked up one of these with a pack of replacement blades because I have a lot of coraline all over the glass, all I can say OMG this thing is incredible, if you have aga you need to get one of these, your magfloats are nothing without them 25 secs all the coraline gone from the tank (except the back which is a pita to get to)
Be careful going too close to the silly cone... I leave about 1/4 - 1/2 inch and do it by hand every so often... Silly cone is the most important part of your tank!
I was just gonna scrape it all off the inside I don't neeed it on the inside of the tank
