Title: Hide Left Frames
Post by: RossW on June 20, 2011, 08:26:30 PM
I can't seem to find out how to hide the left frame.  I used to keep it hidden to maximize reading space.

Is it still possible?

Was wondering the same.  But if there was a way to put the "Show Unread Messages" button back on the top bar.

The way the forum is currently setup right now there is no way to hide the left hand frame.  As for the "Show unread" it will be staying where it is for now as well.  I still have to hook in the Sponsor banners and after that if it makes sense I will look at it.

I don't like the frames on the left either. I am using Firefox + Adblock Plus + Element Hiding Helper to block these frames.

how would you get to "show unread" or "your mail box"?

My plan was to keep shortcuts handy for these.  I tend to live at the unread all screen 99% of the time and just open tabs from there.

I dont use the PM system very often. For the other links that I actually use, I just created bookmarks for each of them. I have one "OVAS" bookmark folder that I open in multiple tabs. I prefer to have more screen space for reading posts.
