I'm going to try and make it to the OVAS event but I just learned that my son Graeme and some of our photography friends have productions chosen for screening at the DIGI60 Ottawa Digital Film Festival which is also on this weekend. Hope no one minds if I stop by Tim's for a dozen or so donuts as my contribution to the OVAS event. http://www.megapixeltravel.com/2011/11/digi60-digital-film-festival-ottawa/
Sounds good! :) Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!
I wrapped up the gifts today :D who's lookin forward to it???
I'm bring a bean salad and maybe some brussels sprouts.
Looking forward to seeing everybody there. Bring your family and a dish. If you didn't sign up yet you are still welcome to the Pot Luck dinner. Hope to see all there.
So just wondering what the final count is on how many people are coming and what foods are on the list that people will bring? I couldn't make it to the meeting so I am not sure of these things ^^^^
so far we gave 30 people signed up.
Hey Everyone!!! We are missing some KEY items!
Carrots
Mashed Potatoes
Raw Veggie mix (if so desired)
peas
I'm bringing rice, mashed turnips (btw they are awesome, home grown turnips!) and some acorn squash (also home grown)
Also - feel free to bring: cookies, brownies, any finger foods, dips
If everyone could bring their own utensils to dish out the food your bringing that would be great.
Do you still need a warming plate and/or crock pots?
it wouldn't hurt to bring one! I have 2 single warming dishes, and a double....but they aren't HUGE....
I will bring Carrots and peas mixed together as well as desert.
I imagine we can warm them up there.
How many people are you expecting?
Peter
coleslaw
Yes we can warm things up over the range top if needed! Expecting around 30 people (at least that's who rsvp'ed....)
I've got the Mashed potatoes :also have dinner rolls & butter
The 25lb turkey has been in the oven for 1.5 hours. Looking good so far.
I've never ever done a turkey before, so I'm crossing my fingers it's going to turn out OK!

Hahaha...thanks for the offer but to his dismay, that tank fits perfectly in one of the book shelves in my office :)
