Title: 9325K
Post by: Lurch1 on February 05, 2012, 09:16:04 PM
So I have FINALLY been able to find out some info on my current bulb. Its a 55w straight pin (double T5) with a rating of 9325. It will be over 29gal cichlid tank with some vals, java fern, and anubias. Is the Kelvin rating ok for the plants or is it to high. I guess 6500 is ideal, what do you think?

They are good for plants & enhance fish color, however you might have a hard time finding the 9325, i see to recall reading they are now discontinued.

Good to know. I have the original bulb that came with light when I bought it. I was hoping to switch it to a 50/50 at some point.
