Title: Nightmare on Eheim St.
Post by: elk on March 06, 2012, 06:34:42 PM
I was at Bigals on Inness today and bought the 2213 as its 30.00 off so when I got home to install it,started to read the instructions and they were not clear at all.
My Fluval 305 was a snap to put together but decided to try an Eheim.
Anyways I went back to store with filter in hand and Rob the manager put it together in 5 mins.

Great job Rob,well my troubles with this eheim didnt end there, when I got home to get it going I filled canister and tubes with water and plugged it in,it was not priming.
So back on the phone with Rob and he said to unplug/plug a couple times and it worked.

Now thats what I call fantastic customer service.

Thanks again Rob!

I have five eheims, and once that 2213 surpasses a decade of use you'll be a believer as well. You made a solid choice by buying eheim.

I just set up my 40 gallon with an Eheim ecco pro easy 60 and it was really easy to set-up and prime. Great filter, really quiet too.
