Hi,
I was wondering if any of these fish are available in the hobby. Please see the link.

You would need a 100 gallon or more tank to keep one of these monsters.
Piranhas, pacus and arowanas are all available in the hobby, except the latter two require a 1200+ gallon tank.
Redtails are also available - but do NOT purchase any of these fish unless you HAVE the tank already...not plan to get the tank, but HAVE the monster tank to hold these monster fish!
Go see these fish live at the Bio dome just to get a glimpse at how big they get!!!
Thanks for the info.
I'm planning on building a 4'x7' pond in my tropical greenhouse so I should have the space for one or two species.
If anyone know what type of filtration I would need, please let me know.
Thanks.
Luc

A 4x7 pond is less than 700 gallons which is still not enough for these fish, especially not a group of them.
yes you're going to need a bigger pond!!! we had a pond that was over 3000 gallons and it was NOT big enough for the koi it housed!
rethink your fish or your pond.....
Some of these are available but a lot of stores won't order them because they know people can't take care of them/house them properly. A lot of these are fish that need swimming space... like a river. I'd say you're looking at 15x10 minimum size for most of these.
