I hate to do it but the time has come to shut down my 90 gallon high tech planted tank. We have sold our house and have to move at the end of June. Our new home won`t be ready until October so we`re moving into a small townhome for the 3 months. In our new home the 90 is going to go in the basement in our theatre room but we`re not going to be finishing that for a few years. I don`t want to have a high maintenance tank in an unfinished basement where I`m never going to be.
I`ll probably start taking things down in the next week or 2. I have slipped a bit in my tank maintenance because I knew this was coming so I have a bit of a BBA outbreak right now. But I will be looking for new homes for my rummynose tetras and probably my tiger pleco. I have a freshwater puffer that I`ll probably move to my Fluval Edge and a small clown pleco that I`ll probably put in my shrimp tank.
I`ll probably also be looking to sell the tank and substrate since I don`t really want to be storing an empty tank and substrate for multiple years.
If you`re interested drop me a PM.
When I actually start to tear down the tank I`ll post in the classifieds the livestock and tank when available.
Jeff
Let me,know how much for the tank itself. I might have someone interested.
Did it ever have copper in it? It will be converted to salt.
Cheers
No never because I've always kept freshwater shrimp in it. I'll let you know.
Jeff
How many rummy-nose tetras do you have. My son and I might be interested in some. We just put in some zebra danios last night and are currently cycling our new 45g so it wouldn't be for a few weeks.
There are 16 of them I think. I'd definitely want to get rid of them all together.
Jeff
I can take them all. Just send me a pm when u want to get rid of it.
Ya, I'd probably only want 6 anyway.
