My profile pic is the male. I couldn't find him this morning, then I saw the female. She looked dramatically skinner than she did last night. So I checked under the small piece of flower pot that I have in there for them to spawn under and sure enough...there's Mr. White Cheek and cluster of eggs on the roof of the flower pot!!!
??? :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Now I'm trying to decide how to deal with this. The last tie I left them alone, I never saw any babies and they were in a species tank. This time, they're in a community tank. I'm tempted to take them out but I have a fry of my own due any day.
Does anyone have any microworm cultures I can start my own culture from?
Sounds exciting! No experience with them but I wanna wish you all the best!
BAP BAP.
Start a thread in the BAP section. Good luck with the spawn. :)
Thanks! Will post on BAP as well. Here are a couple of pics. Excuse the lack of focus...never was much good at close up fish photos :)
You can see the male's head peeking out from under the flower pot piece...that's the black thing that looks like a rock. He's in full colour now!!
exciting!
I started a thread in the BAP section. I added some more pics tonight of how I've separated them from the parents and community tank, plus a fantastic close up of the spawn!
