Took the attached photo tonight for another purpose but since it turned out reasonably well I decided to share it. This is the centre portion of my 40 gallon reef.
The tank itself was the DIY project using the free glass that I mentionned in another thread.
For those who attended Michel's presentation on photography at last month's OVAS meeting, this is also a much better example of how not to use a flash than anything he showed you
Looks nice...at least you did not get a reflection of yourself on the tank. :)
Looks great!
But when you see it live - it even much better!
Regards
That is absolutely gorgeous.
So many OVAS'ers have incredible hidden gems hiding in their homes.
I agree, the pictures never do justice for these tanks.
Julie
very nice!
Sweet!
Really nice and I agree....pictures are good but never as nice as "in person".
Dom
Having seen Ron's reef up close a number of times, I can say that pictures do not do it justice 8)
Thanks,

I saw a beauty a couple of weeks ago in someones house.
That's when I caught the bug.

I have the bug...but my wife has a giant can o' Raid
Thanks,

Note to Murgus:
Be careful. "Raid" might affect your Australian plans too.
Don't worry though, once your daughter gets going with saying "fishes" a few more times, MTS will be tough to knock off with a mere can of "Raid". Just take her to see Nemo again
Ron
Ha ha, Nemo is playing right now here and my daughter asked to see it. I might just take a look at it also.
