Title: Keyhole Cichlid
Post by: Hawkian on February 10, 2013, 09:32:16 AM
HI,

I'd like to get my hands on a pair of keyhole cichlid for my tank but they seem to be relatively rare in the Ottawa region. Does anyone have any idea where I can potentially get my hands on them, or does anyone have young keyholes that they would be willing to part with?

Thanks.

Be careful though - look closely. I can't comment on what is in Ottawa stores, but here in Montreal I recently saw balloon mutation keyholes. That's a nasty 'product', as the fish have life long digestive problems caused by the intentionally bred spinal deformity. It's a cruel breeding practice, although it sure sells with mollies and rams.
