Title: DIY Pleco breeding caves
Post by: woof99 on February 18, 2013, 11:50:09 PM
Hello guys!

I am looking to make some clay caves for my BN Pleco's. I have purchased many over the years but recently picked some up at a fish auction that were shaped long and narrow and the plecos love them!

I have read online that Sculpey clay would be an ok one for underwater use.

SO today, went to art store and got Sculpey Terra cotta clay and another one by craftsmart, polymer Clay.
Both call for baking in the over to harden the clay.

I am curious is anyone out there has ever used this, made this or heard of someone that has done something like this?

Thanks!

No idea if those cays are safe or not but definitely watching this thread.
