Title: Tips for anchoring down plants
Post by: Dan on March 31, 2013, 10:40:46 PM
I am having issues keeping straight Val rooted in my substrate.  :-[

I bought them at the auction - as a result, they are mature and have many roots (so it's not because they do not have roots to keep them down). They are planted anywhere between 1 and 3 inches deep but every morning they are 2 to 3 stems floating at the top. I am guessing my fish are messing around with them - I need a solution.

Anyone interested in sharing their tricks to keeping live plants anchored down? I am particularly interested in your DIY solutions...

What type of substrate are you using?

Eco-Complete (been in there for 1.5 years).
