I wont lie I have the fear, I want to reseal the entire tank but I dont want to see 50 gallons of water on my basement floor again.
Anyone else go through this, did you ever trust that tank again ?
Should i fix my tank or should i just get another one.
its a corner tank, not a bow front ... more like a diamond.
Have to reseal all 5 peices of glass.
Base needs to get redone as the old base took alot of water damage.
I had a 30 long gifted to me. Tested it, no leaks. Set it up, no leaks.
The next day I found the bottom front seam had let go. 30gallons of muddy water on carpet.
I replaced it with a new tank the next day. Peace of mind and warranty :)
Odd shapes like that are more difficult to reseal. I tried it with a HEX tank.. never got it to seal up well. Best of luck.
For the price of peace of mind I would go new if I was you. Sell the tank for cheap and put that money to the new one. ;D

Ditto.
I wouldn't chance it either but then I'm over cautious to a " t" :-\.
