Post by: werehatwere on August 12, 2013, 05:56:21 PM
Just curious as to what you guys have always wanted to keep.

What's you favorite type of fish? :P

As in a specific type of tetra or livebearer.
Mine would have to be....

Parambassis Pulcinella! Love these guys!  :)

I keep them in a 40g with some Java Loachs and a Gourami
NOT MY PICTURE

Ummmm..........ANGELFISH!!!  I just love their gracefulness, their majestic presence among schools of smaller fish, and attitude  LOL.....they are smart for a fish, I love to watch them court, pair up and care for their young and also their strata, they are always visible, and greet me when I walk close to the tank (for food. :P)

I love my pencilfish! They swim at a 45 degree angle and move around by flapping their fins like a hummingbird.  Another interesting thing about them is that they have a horizontal stripe in the day time, but when it is dark, it turns into two vertical stripes!

A close second are my Ember Tetras because they're one of the smallest fish. This allows me to have a school of them in my 16 gallon aquarium.
