Makes me kind of curious why he would sell a $1200 fish for potentially so much less than its real value....

I've had two people offer me blue-eyes in the past several years.... one person about 5 years ago for $2000 and another about 3 years ago for $1200. I've also seen some on wholesale lists for about $800 (I believe it was, maybe more), but either way it's great to see that they're almost becoming slightly more available. These fish were all over the place a couple of decades ago.
