Title: summer in Ottawa=maggots
Post by: wrm130 on July 12, 2015, 03:15:48 PM
I'm sure most people with a green bin have encountered this. Salt seems to work well on them.

But i was wondering. Has anyone tried feeding them to their fish? All my fish are fairly small but I'm thinking the dwarf frogs may enjoy them.

Ya it's gross but that aside, any thoughts?

I already net mosquito larvae from my rain barrels and that's working well.

Maybe as a treat but not on a regular basis.
