I've recently regained interest in keeping puffers and wanted to know where freshwater puffer keepers purchase them.

Years ago I had a Pao Abei Puffer which had a really interesting personality. I'm looking to get the same or something similar but all I can find are Dwarf Puffers.

Does anyone know where I can find or special order freshwater puffers?

I believe I saw a few at Big Al's on Innis Road this past weekend.

Are you referring to the Dwarf Puffers? Those are the only ones I've seen at Big Al's and I actually have one.

I'm looking at getting a slightly bigger freshwater puffer but can't find any for sale.

I think the ones I saw were about 2-3 inches long... either at Big Al's or La Niche in Gatineau.

La Niche yesterday (Sunday) had a couple of Fahaka puffers. See pics.
