Title: Co2 pressur problem
Post by: Seanc on January 20, 2006, 08:36:58 PM
Hi
I juat got a Miluakee co2 regulator, bubble counter, and needle valve, and 5lb botle from the fire extinguisher place. and i am having problems keeping the presure at 10psi. every day when i get home i have to ajust it again, and i am asuming it is not supost to be like that. the pressure from the bottle reads, 900psi. is there anything I can do about this? will it stop this after a week? or will i have to ajust it like this forever?
Thanks
Sean

How much of an adjustment do yo uhave to make?  If you have a low end needle valve, sometimes they will shut off at lower psi values... which would build up a little pressure at the regulator.

I've always found it easier to set my regulator between 15 and 20 PSI and then adjust my needle valve accordingly.

I have same regulator set up. it is stable only at 40 psi and up.
